“Mystic” is a sci-fi epic about a young woman’s search for love and identity in a world that is more alien than she ever imagined.
It’s also about how to make it all happen, a task that will be made even more complicated by a new plague that could wipe out her family, and the constant threat of disease.
The film, which is based on the short-lived 2000 TV series “Mysteria” (which aired on Discovery Channel in 2015), is set in the year 2025.
The series was written and directed by Michael B. Jordan and features the voice of actor Lucy Liu.
Its a bold move by Discovery, which has often struggled to find original original stories in its lineup, and is seeking a new creative voice.
“Mystica” was created by the team behind the “Astro Boy” TV series, which launched on Discovery in 2016.
It follows a young boy named Astro (Samuel L. Jackson), who discovers a mysterious alien life form that threatens to destroy Earth and the world, and struggles to deal with his fears of being alone.
The character was created for the pilot episode of the series and has been an integral part of the plot since its premiere.
The movie follows the story of two young girls, Amy and Emily (played by Lillian Gish and Lauren Tom), who are separated from their mother (Amy Adams), who died in a car crash.
The young girls decide to return to their father, Dr. Michael Pfeiffer (Toby Kebbell), who has been on a mission to find his daughter, and together, they make the fateful decision to travel back in time to save her.
While “Mystery Science Theater 3000” was a hit in 2000, it was far from the only original series to have success on Discovery.
In 2017, the Discovery Channel launched its own original sci-fantasy series, “Lost,” which was based on an old sci-fiction series of the same name from the 1960s.
Discovery’s sci-Fi drama “The Expanse” was also a hit, and in 2018, the channel launched a new original series based on a popular science fiction series.
“Mystic,” which is set for release on Oct. 17, marks the second-biggest movie release of 2018, according to Box Office Mojo.
That number would be even higher if “My Mystic” had not been canceled in February 2018, due to an infection that affected some of the cast and crew.
Discovery has been one of the most successful cable networks in the past decade, with more than 7,500 episodes of original programming.
The cast of “Mystro” is expected to feature actors like Lucy Liu, Lucy Liu as Amy, Lili Reinhart as Emily, Amy Adams as Lucy and Michael B Jordan as Michael PFEIFFER.
It is also expected to include the voice talents of Lucy Liu and Lili Winham as well as “My Mystical Home” star Lili Taylor.
